Avery was born in Atchison, KS, and moved to Manhattan, KS, where she attended Bellus Academy. She graduated from esthetics school in 2020 and moved to Lawrence to pursue her career. Since then, she has been mastering her craft as an esthetician in the medical spa field, where she has developed strong connections with patients and the ability to treat their skin effectively by creating personalized treatment plans and skincare routines.
Her passion for helping others feel their best has been lifelong. Beginning at an early age, Avery has helped others on some of the most important days of their lives, from school pictures, school dances, to wedding days, and everything in between.
Being a results-driven esthetician, Avery’s favorite treatments include Hydrafacial, microneedling, and chemical peels. She believes in the power of relaxation and finds her niche in facial massage. Her main goal is for her patients to leave her treatment room feeling confident, educated, and refreshed.
When Avery is not in her treatment room, she assists Tatum with injectables. Doing so, she has expanded her knowledge of esthetics and the beauty industry vastly. She has been able to travel and network with some of the best professionals in the business. Collaboration and continued education are priorities for Avery, as she feels that the beauty industry is constantly evolving and wants to provide the best advice and service to her patients.
Besides doing her own self-care, Avery enjoys traveling, spending time with her nieces and nephews, visiting cute coffee shops, listening to live music, practicing yoga, and playing pickleball with her friends.

Tatum was born and raised in Kansas then eventually settled in San Antonio, Texas after joining the United States Air Force. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2005. She spent the first five years of her career in emergency nursing where she developed a strong compassion for people and a range of clinical, technical, and critical decision-making skills as well as the ability to communicate with patients directly and honestly with confidence and accuracy.
In 2010, Tatum transitioned to dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she worked with several dermatologists and dermatology surgeons and was able to learn beside the doctors in the dermatology residency program. In 2017, she graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Nursing. Tatum moved back home to Kansas and worked in dermatology treating a variety of conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer. In addition, she mastered cosmetic injectables including Botox and fillers and became a speaker/trainer for Allergan in 2022. She travels to multiple states to train other injectors.
Tatum is passionate about helping people achieve the best version of themselves using evidence-based practice which integrates the best available evidence with clinical knowledge and expertise, while considering the patients’ unique needs and personal preferences. She believes learning is a lifelong process that never ends. Tatum highly values education - for patients, staff, and herself. She regularly attends trainings by internationally recognized leaders in the industry to provide the most up-to-date and safest information and techniques to her patients and students.
Outside of work, Tatum can be found on the lake paddleboarding, going to rock concerts and comedy shows with her friends, planning renovations for her mid-century modern home, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family (which now includes a grandson)!
